Canon, Caroline A. (10 JAN 1852 - 13 APR 1891)
Died, at her home
in Neillsville, Clark County, on Monday, April 13, 1891, Mrs.
Caroline A. Canon, wife of James K. Canon.
The deceased was born in Essex Co., N.Y., Jan. 10, 1852. She came
west to Wisconsin at an early age was married to James K. Canon in
1869. They came to Clark County in 1872, and have lived in
Neillsville for the past seven years. She leaves a husband and four
children, three girls and one boy, to mourn her untimely death. She
has been a sufferer from consumption for many months.
The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian Church, an estimable
lady, and highly respected by all who came in contact with her. The
funeral was from the house yesterday.
