Taylor, Eunice (FEB 1800 - 21 MAY 1891)
Died, at Maple
Works, Town of Grant, Clark County, on the 21st day of May, 1891,
Mrs. Eunice Taylor, at the aged of 91 years and 3 months.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Connecticut in the year 1800, and came with
her husband to Wisconsin about twenty years ago. She was probably
the oldest lady in the county. A few years ago she was thrown from
a wagon by a team, since which time she was unable to walk, but
otherwise enjoyed good health up to within a few weeks of the time
of her death. She was a strict Presbyterian from childhood to the
grave. She was the mother of Mrs. Nelson Marsh, of Maple Works, and
three other daughters living in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The
editor of this paper is one of the grandchildren and leaves the
publication of her many virtues to other pens. Funeral services
were held Saturday, conducted by Rev. W. T. Hendren.
