Langreck, Ceclia Agnes (25 April 1916 - 11 Jan. 1994)
Cecelia Agnes Langreck, 77, Greenwood, Clark County, died Saturday,
Jan. 8, 1994, at Neillsville Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1994, at
St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Father Steve Baures
officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Alan Lindner, Gary Trunkel, Mark
Langreck, Brian Langreck, Thomas Scherer and John Krause.
Cecelia Agnes Wilson was born on April 25, 1916, in Neillsville, to
Frank and Clara (nee Marquart) Wilson.
She received her education at Uncle Sam's Schoolhouse in Christie,
and Neillsville High School. She married Ferdinand Langreck on Aug.
27, 1936, in Neillsville. He survives. She and her husband farmed
in Neillsville for two years before moving to a farm north of
Greenwood, where they farmed until 1964. She worked at Roddis in
Marshfield from 1951 1962. They bought Parkway Bar north of
Greenwood in 1963 and operated it until 1976. She then worked for
Co-op Services until her retirement in 1978. She resided in
Greenwood until entering the Neillsville Memorial Nursing Home in
Dec. 1989. She was a member of St. Ann's Society and St. Mary's
Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband four sons, Francis (Marie) Langreck,
Cottage, Grove, Minn. Joseph (Mary) Langreck, Lancaster Robert
(Elaine) Langreck, Spencer, and Gregory (Cathy) Langreck, Greenwood
four daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lindner, Loyal Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Trunkel, Woodville Mr. and Mrs. Richard Scherer, Greenwood
and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Krause, Curtiss 34 grandchildren 23
great-grandchildren one sister, Katherine Drusser, Neillsville and
two brothers, Charles Wilson, Moweaqua, Ill. and John Wilson, Buena
Vista, Col.
She was preceded in death by her parents one daughter, Cecelia one
son, Donald three grandchildren one brother and three sisters.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
