Gilbertson, JuLaine (29 JUL 1932 - 29 APR 2002)
JuLaine
Gilbertson, 69, Unity died Monday, April 29, 2002, at St. Joseph's
Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
Funeral services will be held on Friday May 3, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at
Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity. Burial will be in Colby Memorial
Cemetery, town of Colby Clark County. Rev. John Clasen will
officiate. Pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Phillips, Jim Rebne, Nick
Hanson, Dale Dalson, Erland Shelley and Roger Weiler. Honorary
Pallbearers will be Don Gipp, Boyd Plummer, Dale Leffel, Steve
Hanson, Bob Klinner and Frank Nikolay.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Community
Funeral Home, Colby, and from 2:00 until service time at the church
on Friday.
JuLaine was born July 29, 1932 in Unity to Harry and Leona (Laack)
Mandel. She graduated from Unity High School in 1951, Beauty
Culture College in 1953 and attended UW Marshfield. She operated a
beauty shop out of her home in Unity. JuLaine enjoyed bowling,
cooking out with her family and friends, reading, embroidery and
extra special outings with her grandchildren. She was a member of
Trinity Lutheran Church.
Julaine is survived by her daughter Lisa (Randy) Raczykowski, her
grandchildren, Patty, Cecelia, and Heather, and her special
grandchildren Brittany and Samantha.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Following the services all of JuLaine's family and friends are
invited to Spare Time Lanes, Colby to say a final good-bye and
rejoice in her journey home.
