Oblack, Joseph W. (13 FEB 1932 - 20 MAR 2002)
Joseph W. Oblack, 70, Milwaukee, formerly of Willard, Clark County,
died on Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 13, 1932, in Gorman, to Paul and Mary Oblack.
He attended the Gorman and Willard grade schools and graduated from
Greenwood High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Air Force from
1953-57 as an air policeman and received the National Defense
Service Medal. He later attended the Milwaukee Area Technical
College, where he received associate of arts and associate in
applied science degrees. He worked for several years at American
Motors Corporation, Milwaukee, and owned and operated avending
machine business in Milwaukee.
Survivors include two sisters, Rose Onak, Chicago, and Frances
Cobb, Madison and nine nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents one sister, Albina
Matkovich and two brothers, Paul Oblack and Anton Oblack.
