Harriman, Lona Sheldon (6 JUL 1866 - 17 MAY 1895)


Lona Sheldon Harriman, wife of A. C. Harriman, died at the home of A. M. Harriman in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), Friday, May 17th, 1895, of puerperal fever.

She was born in Eyota, Minn., July 6, 1866, and was married to A. C. Harriman at Harrold, Dakota, Dec. 25, 1889. They moved to Warrens, Monroe, County, Wis., the first of Feb. 1894. She had been visiting her husbands parents here about six weeks when taken ill. She leaves a husband and baby boy, parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

The funeral was held at the Congregational Church Sunday afternoon, Revs. Foster and Michaels officiating. The remains were buried in the Neillsville Cemetery.
