Titfe, Olive ( - 4 NOV 1895)

Monday forenoon, Nov. 4th, 1895, death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Titfe (not sure of spelling) and claimed their oldest daughter, Olive. For the past few weeks it had been known that her stay in this world was of short duration and the visitation came not unexpectedly.

About six years ago Olive came to this place with her parents and by her kind disposition, kind manners and gentle ways won a place in the hearts of her acquaintances that will long remain vacant.

Hers was not an obtrusive character that forced itself upon you attention, but rather the opposite, quiet and unassuming, and such as wins friends from all with whom they are thrown in contact. With scarcely a blemish to mar her sweet disposition she had a friendly smile and kind words for all.

Ollie's sickness was a few weeks duration. A victim of quick consumption, her decline from the commencement of the disease has been rapid, and now, at the age of twenty years, lacking ten days, just as she was blossoming into womanhood, she has left us and the places that once knew her will know her no more forever.
