LARS LARSON
Lars Larson, 55, Green Bay, died Saturday,
May 28, 1994, at his home. Funeral services were held on Wednesday,
June 1, 1994, at 10 a.m. at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, Green Bay.
Rev. Mike Seis officiated.
Lars Larson was born on April 25, 1939, in the Tioga/Willard area,
Clark County, to Peter and Gertrude (nee Oberle) Larson.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a graduate of
Owen-Withee High School in 1957. He continued his education at UW-
La Crosse and graduated in 1962. He married Irene Christman on June
26, 1965, at Holy Rosary Church, Owen. She survives. He was
employed as the Data Processing Manager for Dane County Social
Services prior to being employed by the Housing Allowance Office.
He was a member of the Wisconsin Association of Housing Authorities
(WAHA) and the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment
Officials (NAHRO). He served as the chapter treasurer for eight
years.
Survivors include his wife, Irene two sons, Laren Larson and Lance
Larson, both of Green Bay one daughter, Linda Larson, Green Bay one
brother, John (DeAnn) Larson, Sterling, Colo. two sister, Ann (Bob)
Hill, Milton and Darlene (Dennis) Bucheger, Greenwood his father,
Peter Larson, Owen and Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Leo
Larson.
