NEILLSVILLE - Frances Matousek, age 97, of
Neillsville, Clark County, WI, formerly of Willard, WI died Friday,
May 31, 2002 at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2002 at St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville. Interment will be in the
Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Willard. Visitation will be from 5
to 8 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m., Prayer Service Friday, June 7, 2002 at
the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville.
Frances Gertrude Volk was born on April 19, 1905 in Golden, Colo.
the daughter of Frank and Mary (Zitnik) Volk. In 1937, she was
united in marriage to James C. Matousek in Chicago. They moved to
Downers Grove, Ill. in 1950 to live in the country. James retired
in 1974 and then they began traveling. Frances lived in Willard
until 1993, the year James died, then she moved to Neillsville to
live with her daughter.
Survivors are her daughter, Mary (Steve) Hinkle of Neillsville two
grandchildren one sister, Emma (Charles) Macham of Clear Water,
Fla. two brothers, Albert Volk of Neillsville and John Volk of
Tulsa, Okla.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2002 at St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville. Interment will be in the

to 8 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m., Prayer Service Friday, June 7, 2002 at
