Huyck, Aaron (1811 - 11 APR 1897)

Aaron Huyck died of paralysis at the home of his son-in-law, Hiram Windover, Sunday morning at the age of 86 years.

Deceased was born in New York in 1811, and came to Clark County fourteen years ago. He leaves eight children, Bertha Windover and Alice Campbell of the town of York, Catherine Cochrane of Canada, Robert Huyck of Humbird, James Huyck and Mary Falen of Sheboygan and Sarah Johnson of South Dakota. He was a great sufferer, but his faith in God brought peace, looking for the time when he would be united with the companion of his youth, who passed away eleven months ago.

The funeral services were held from the Windfall Advent Church, Monday afternoon, Revs. Foster and Knudson officiating, and were largely attended by relatives and friends.
