Twardowski, Walter J. (4 MAR 1906 - 24 SEP 1963)
Funeral services for Walter J. Twardowski, 57, of Abbotsford, who died Sept. 24,
1963 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient since
Aug. 13, were held Saturday morning at Chicago at St. Salomea Church. Burial was
made in Holy Cross Cemetery, Chicago.
Walter J. Twardowski was born March 4, 1906 in Chicago. He was a former mail
carrier. Following his retirement he made his home with his son, Gene, and
family. They came to Abbotsford in 1962.
Surviving him, besides his son, is one daughter, Mrs. Elenaore Leu of Gilman..
There are seven grandchildren.
He also has one brother, Eugene Twardowski, in California, and two sisters, Mrs.
Irene Kubicki of Plymouth, Ind., and Mrs. Martha Pycz of Chicago.
Preceding him in death were his wife, the former Sophie Garcyznski, his parents,
Casmir and Mary Twardowski, and one sister, Helen Scha (?).
Relatives attending the funeral from this vicinity were Mr. and Mrs. Gene
Twardowski and two children of Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Leu of Gilman
and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Tyznik of Thorp.
