The 37th annual Schwantes family reunion was held at Marathon Park, Wausau, Sunday, Aug. 25, 1963.

Forty-four relatives were present and prized were given the youngest attending, three month old Christine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mavis, Marion; the families coming the greatest distance, Mrs. F. Kresse and Mrs. A.G. Hahn, Milwaukee; and the largest family group consisted of two families, each having eleven members present, first, the August Schwantes (deceased) family; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Manthe, Mr. and Mrs. George Greeler, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schwantes, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Schwantes, Susan, Karen, and Jayne, all of Marshfield; second: Mrs. William (Linda) Naedler Sr. family: Mr. and Mrs. William Naedler Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Naedler, Larry, Rodney and Nancy Ann, and Mr. and Mrs. William Naedler Jr., Dennis and Sandra, all of Granton.

Also present were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Mavis, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mavis, Susan, Patricia and Christine, all of Marion, Mrs. Ervin Viegut, Athens, Mrs. Charles (Minnie) Greeler, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Greeler, and Erland Greeler, all of Neillsville, Miss Velda Levanduske and Mr. and Mrs. Roger tyler, David and Judith, Granton.
