Horn, Jane (11 Sept 1922-21 Dec 2013)
Jane F. Horn, 90, Greenwood, passed away on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Ministry
Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on
Saturday, Dec. 29, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood. Rev. Mark A.
Schwinn officiated. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, town of Warner,
Clark County.
Jane Baker was born on Sept. 11, 1922, in Madison, the daughter of Charles H.
and Florence P. (nee Gilbert) Baker. Early in her life, Jane and her family
moved from Madison to Cottage Grove where she attended elementary school. The
family moved back to Madison where she graduated from Madison High School in
1941. After graduation, she worked in several business offices doing clerical
work. On July 18, 1959 she married Lloyd Horn of Greenwood. He survives. Jane
was a dedicated mother and wife who worked tirelessly on their dairy farm right
along side her husband for more than 34 years. Her hobbies included baking and
working in her flpwer and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed the time spent and
miles logged snowmobiling each winter. She was a member of Immanuel United
Church of Christ, Greenwood.
Survivors include her loving husband, Lloyd, Greenwood. two daughters; Crystal
(Daniel) Trunkel, Willard, and Patricia (Rodney) Nachreiner, Mauston; two
grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
