Korntved, Judith M. (19 OCT 1963)
The marriage of Miss Judith Marie Korntved, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E.
Korntved of Unity and Dale Fredric Aderhold, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd H.
Aderhold of Stratford was solemnized Saturday, Oct. 19, 1963, in a 1:30 p.m.
ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity, before the Rev. Robert Langseth.
Mrs. Bette Kramer sang "O Promise Me" and "The Lord's Prayer," with Paulette
Zimmerman as organist.
Bouquets of bronze mums adorned the altar when the bride was given away in
marriage by her father. She was attired in a floor length white bridal gown with
a fitted bodice of Chantilly lace featuring a jewel trimmed Sabrina neckline and
long sleeves. The full hoop skirt was fashioned in front by a full length alce
panel. The back was accented by tires of peau de soie edge with lace, ending in
a chapel sweep. Her French illusion veil was secured to a halo crown of
pearlized orange blossoms and seed pearls.
She carried a crescent bouquet with a large white orchid surrounded by
stephanotis and ivy.
Miss Pat Danner of Chicago served as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs.
Marlene Mews and Miss Eleanor Hackel of Milwaukee.
They were dressed alike in street length formals in apricot brocade with
sweetheart necklines and elbow length sleeves. Each was fashioned with a
controlled skirt featuring loose front panels with small bow trim and completed
by a bustle back and large bow.
Headpieces were matching petal clips with pearl trim and halo veils.
Lorna Lemanski of Milwaukee was the flower girl dressed as the bridesmaids with
a floor length dress.
Peter Rock of Stratford was the ring bearer.
Serving as best man was Gary Aderhold of Stratford. Jim Mews of Milwaukee and
Roger Stremer of Athens were groomsmen. Performing the ushering duties were
Warren Talcott of Unity and Dennis Bahr of Athens.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Unity Hall. A dinner was
served at 4:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church, and a dance was held in the evening
at the Unity Hall.
The bride is attending school at Mt. Sinai Hospital and will be employed in
Milwaukee as a laboratory technician.
The groom attended Central State College at Stevens Point and he now attends
Marquette University Dental School in Milwaukee. The young couple will live at
2660 N. Humboldt Ave., Milwaukee.
