Meihack, Rose B. (1 June 1893 - 2 December 1967)
Funeral services for Miss Rose B. Meihack, 74, of Neillsville, who died here
Saturday, were held Tuesday afternoon from the Immanuel Lutheran Church in
Globe, with the Rev. David Witte officiating. Burial was made in the North Pine
Valley Cemetery.
Miss Meihack was born June 1, 1893, in the town of Weston, living there most of
her life time. She moved to Neillsville in 1928 with her parents, the late
Edward and Caroline (Hoeftman) Meihack. In her later years she made her home
with her brother, Frank.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Ben (Martha) Dux of Neillsville, Mrs. Erna
Zick of Clinton and Mrs. Frank (Minnie) Thoma of Rt. 3 Neillsville; and by three
brothers, Frank, George and Alvin Meihack, all of Neillsville.
Pallbearers were: Herbert Henchen, Francis Haines, Gordon Thoma, George Thoma,
Ronnie Meihack and Donald Zick.
Mrs. Harold Mayer and Mrs. Roger Tyler sang, “For Me to Live is Jesus” and “The
Lord’s My Shepherd,” accompanied by Mrs. David Hoppa.
People from out of town here for the service included Mrs. Erna Zick and Miss
Hazel Zick of Clinton ; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Zick, Ronald, Nancy and Susan of
Durand, Ill.; and Herman Belter of Granton.
