Zocher, Shirley M. (Chojnowski) (29 JUL 1958 - 05 JAN 2013)

Shirley M. Zocher, 54, Abbotsford, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at her home.

She was born July 29, 1958 in Wausau, daughter of Sylvester and Alice (Lepak) Chojnowski, Colby.

On September 13, 1980, she married Dennis Zocher at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. He survives.

For many years, Shirley worked at Wausau Insurance Co. until the birth of their only child, Kevin.

Survivors include her husband Dennis, Abbotsford; son Kevin, Abbotsford; parents Sylvester and Alice Chojnowski, Colby; siblings Marge (Floyd) Heidmann, Edgar; Ray (Wendy) Chojnowski, Edgar; Evelyn (Wayne) Kottke, Athens.

Shirley was preceded in death by a brother, Al Chojnowski.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. The Rev. Robert Streveler and the Deacon LeRoy Knauf will preside.
