Cook, Chester D. (11 September 1893 -5 December 1967)
Funeral services for Chester D. Cook, 74, of Des Moines, Ia., were held Saturday
from the Georgas Funeral Home, with the Rev. W. C. Koehler officiating. Masonic
rites also were held.
Pallbearers were: Wm. A. Campman, Alfred Kleckner, Harold Trewartha, Jas. A.
Musil, Elmer Buddenhagen and Richard Albrecht. Wilfred Galstad, accompanied by
Marilyn Galstad, sang, “Nearer My God to Thee.”
People from out-of-town here for the service were: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cardarella
and Mrs. Janel Wiesner of West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hagie and son of
Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Anthony and Mrs. Ann Anthony of Madison; Irwin
Dankemann of Junction City; and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Selves of Alma Center.
