Krogness, Adolph M. (12 January 1887 - 10 December 1967)
Adolph M. Krogness, 80, Sioux City, Ia., and a former Greenwood resident, died
Suddenly Sunday at Sioux City. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m.
from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold, pastor of Our
Savior’s Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be made in the Greenwood
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home beginning Thursday
afternoon.
Mr. Krogness was born January 12, 1887, in Cambridge. He was the son of Mons and
Caroline (Arneson) Krogness. He came to the area at the age of eight years with
his parents, and was educated in the Greenwood schools.
He attended Business College in La Crosse, going to Sisseton, S. D., then on to
Sioux City 41 years ago, and was never married.
He is survived by a brother, Carl of Owen.
