Christie, Mr. and Mrs. Free (60th - 11 December 1967)

Mr. and Mrs. Free Christie of Neillsville quietly observed their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday in Memorial Home where Mr. Christie is a resident.

Mr. Christie and the former Elizabeth Mc Connell were married December 11, 1907, in Greenwood. They operated a farm in the town of Eaton and later were on other farms until 1940, when they moved to Neillsville, where they made their home since.

Mr. and Mrs. Christie are the parents of six children: Ernest of La Crosse, Gene of Neillsville, Arthur of Greenwood, Mrs. May Schullo of Minneapolis, Mrs. Arlene Lobner of Milladore and John Christie of Osseo, Minn. They also have 18 grandchildren.

Here for the occasion Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Christie and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Christie of La Crosse; Mrs. May Schullo and two sons of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. John Christie and family of Osseo, Minn.; Mrs. Art Christie of Greenwood. Joining the family group were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Christie and the Jerry Christie family of Neillsville.
