Henseler, Jake (27 September 1906 - 16 December 1967)
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from Trinity Lutheran Church in
Loyal for Jake Henseler, Jr., 61, of Loyal, who died Saturday at his home from
an apparent heart attack. The Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer was the officiating pastor.
Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Mr. Henseler was born September 27, 1906, in Switzerland, and came to the United
States as an infant with his parents, who settled in Clark County. Since 1938 he
had been an employee of the John Wuethrich Creamery near Greenwood. He was
married June 6, 1928, in Loyal to the former Vera Vick.
Mr. Henseler is survived by his wife; a son, Lyle, of Layton, Utah; a daughter,
Mrs. Orville Luchterhand of Granton; his mother, Mrs. Jake Henseler, Sr., of
Loyal; three sisters, Katherine of Loyal, Mrs. John Steiner of Milwaukee and
Mrs. Art Genenz of Evanston, Ill.
