Augustin, John W. (15 NOV 1885 - 20 OCT 1963)

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Green Grove for John W. Augustin, 77, who died Sunday evening at the Havenet Nursing Home at Owen.

The Rev. Jerome Wohlfiel conducted the services and interment was made in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby.

Mr. Augustin was born Nov. 15, 1885 in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.). In 1942, he married the former Martha Raatz, who preceded him in death in 1961.

He farmed all his life in the town of Green Gove, and for the past two year, lived at the Havenet Nursing Home. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Green Grove.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Sophia Burkhardt of Thorp, and a brother, Ernest Augustin, St. Paul. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death, besides his wife.
