Rosandich, Susanna (4 February 1888 - 30 December 1967)

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. from St. Stephan’s Catholic Church in Chili, for Mrs. Susanna Rosandich, 79, of rural Granton, who died Saturday in Neillsville. The Rev. Richard McKoskey officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Rosandich, the former Susanna Smallen, was born February 4, 1888, in Galbalto, Czechoslovakia. She came to the United States at the age of 16. She was married in Houghdale, Pa., to Michael Billy, who died nine years later. On October 26, 1918, Mrs. Rosandich was married to the late Michael Rosandich, who died February 3, 1957.

She is survived by seven daughters: Mrs. Mary Paun of Granton, Mrs. Anna Donahoe of Rolling Meadows, Ill., Miss Margaret Billy of Evanston, Ill., Mrs. John Janice of Milwaukee, Mrs. Rose Langan of Evanston, Ill., Mrs. Louis Linzmeir of Junction City, and Mrs. James Erikson of Marshfield; and by three sons, Martin, Louis and Anton, all of Milwaukee. Other survivors are a brother, John Smallen of New Jersey; 32 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton made funeral arrangements.

Pallbearers were: Joe, Louis, Nick and Tom Rosandich, John and Tom Paun.
