Winter seems to be here at last.
The Curtis family has been rather under the weather last week with La Grippe.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Happe spent Sunday at John Patno's.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rowe took supper with the latter's aunt, Mrs. Charles
Ferrill, Saturday.
Mr. A. Reuth is home from the hospital since Monday and expects to return in a
few days.
John Pizer and John Graham assisted Rowe and Patno with the barn last week.
A program and basket social will be given at the Heathville Schoolhouse Monday
night, Oct. 29th. Everybody come and bring a filled basket - Grace Albaugh,
teacher.
The threshing machine is in our neighborhood. We should think they have cold
fingers.
Norman Rowe helped Albaugh and Zuehlsdorf thresh on Wednesday.
