Oscar Christopherson has purchased the Fred Steinberg farm for $9,000.
Tony Hemp drove to Levis Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Paul Steffen, returning
home on Monday.
There will be a dance at Prock's Hall this Friday evening. Music will be by
Crandall's Orchestra of Granton.
John Dudei and wife visited their daughter Mrs. Otto Steinberg Sunday afternoon.
Bruno Halle and family of Fond du Lac are visiting at the home of Mrs. Halle's
father, Mr. Quast.
Communion services will be held at the Globe Lutheran Church next Sunday, Nov.
4th. We celebrate the Reformation festival at the church.
Among those that attended teh Mission Festival at Neillsville Sunday were: Rev.
W. Parisius, Theodore Kalsow, Will Scheel Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nemitz, Mr.
and Mrs. H. Kunkel, Mr. Leonard Schultz, W.B. Thoma and Albert Hemp families,
Helena Schroeder, Ottilie Mitte, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kalsow, also Fred Kalsow and
Ferdinand Grap and their wives.
Rev. W. Parisius was given a surprise in honor of his birthday Monday evening.
It was Otto Kunkel's and Frank Thoma's birthday, also.
