Levis (6 MAY 1915)
Clayton Vine moved his family out to Day last week.
Kampine and Lawrence installed a milking machine at D.A. Neff’s last Thursday.
C. Schoeder and wife of Alma Center visited in this vicinity last week.
Miss Lillian Nelson made an over-Sunday visit with her sister at Black River
Falls.
A host of Mrs. Pokorny’s friends pleasantly surprised her Sunday. The occasion
being her birthday.
Mrs. Chas. Novotny spent Sunday afternoon at the L.H. Munson home.
Mrs. H. Blum, who has been ill for several days, is recovering.
The body of Mrs. A. Oldham arrived Tuesday and the remains interred in Levis
Cemetery.
Willie Schroeder of Neillsville spent Monday night at the home of his
grandparents, H. Blum and family.
The Schnable and Bruss families of Neillsville spent Sunday at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Lipke.
Last but not least! Don’t forget the basket social and spelling contest at the
Lincoln School Friday evening, May 7th.
