Saturday morning Adolph Wepfer and Miss Bertha Prock were united in marriage.
They were attended by Miss Katherine Prock and Herbert Brown. The bride wore a
blue travelling suit and following the ceremony the newly wedded couple left on
the noon train for Norwalk, Wis., where they will make their home. The groom is
a son of Mrs. Anna Wepfer and for several years has been the prescription clerk
at the Sniteman drug store. He is a graduate of the Neillsville high school and
of the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. He is one of Neillsville’s crop of boys
who have gone out into the world and made a successful start in life by his own
efforts and capability and he has the high esteem of the entire community. His
bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Prock and a young lady of the highest
type of young womanhood. She has been employed by the W.J. Marsh store for a
number of years and is a young lady of pleasing personality and winsome
disposition. Mr. Wepfer has purchased a drug store at Norwalk and this young
couple go to their new home with the best wishes of their many friends here and
with the best recommendations that Neillsville can give them, true friendship
and interest in their future welfare.
