Lepke, Mr./Mrs. Aug. (Golden – 11 MAY 1915)
Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Lepke celebrated their golden wedding and the event
was duly observed by a large number of their friends and acquaintances. Mrs.
Lepke was born Johanna Lorenz and was united in marriage to Mr. Lepke in
Germany. They came to Neillsville in 1872 where Mr. Lepke engaged in his
business as a mason. They have resided here ever since and during their
residence here have won and held the high esteem of a large circle of friends.
Five children were born to them, Frank, Joseph, Mike, John, and Mrs. Mat Resong.
Frank lives in this city, Joseph lives in Montana, Mike at Madison, John at
Richland Center and Mrs. Resong in Pine Valley. The children were all here for
the wedding with the exception of Joseph.
