Dells Dam (20 MAY 1915)

Section 29 and part of section 28, consisting of 800 acres of land, has been sold to a land company and the work of clearing has already begun. The company also bought all the goats Spears had to sell and will ship in two carloads more soon. They also paid $50 toward the new road that runs along section 27.

The barn on the old Varney place was struck by lightning and burned Friday morning, together with its contents.

A baby was born to Scott Raether and wife last week.

The social at the church was a success in spite of the weather.
