Strathmann, Anna L. (15 MAR 1885 - 3 NOV 1963)

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna L. Strathmann, 78, of Colby, who died Sunday morning, Nov. 3, 1963, at the Leahy nursing Home at Abbotsford, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church at Colby.

The Rev. Leroy Urman officiated at the services. Burial was made in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.

The body lay in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home.

The former Anna L. Lindner was born March 15, 1885, and since a child, has lived at Colby. Her marriage took place at Colby to Herman H. Strathmann on Nov. 29, 1913.

He preceded her in death on June 3, 1957.

Surviving are three sons, Arnold, Edward and Harold Strathmann of Colby, a daughter, Mrs. Frederick (Margaret) Zellner of Green Lake, Wis., and seven grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. John Schwartz and Miss Louise Lindner of Dorchester, and Mrs. Walter Ahrens of Marathon, and a half-sister, Mrs. Hilda Boeger of Sheboygan.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Lindner, A half-brother, Charles Lindner, and three half-sisters, Mrs. Emil Kadwig, Mrs. Emma Westenhagen and Mrs. Minnie Dekaresky.
