Schillinger, Gloria (16 NOV 1963)

A wedding ceremony and nuptial high mass were held at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan, Saturday morning, Nov. 16, 1963, for the marriage of Miss Gloria Schillinger and Leonard Frahm Jr. The Rev. Charles Schumacher officiated at ten o'clock.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schillinger of route 1, Edgar, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Frahm Sr. of Athens.

In the bridal party were Miss Nancy Schillinger of Edgar, sister of the bride, and Calvin Frahm, brother of the groom, as the honor attendants, and Miss Karen Frahm and Daniel Duellman, a friend of the groom, and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy E. Huebschmann, uncle and aunt of the groom.

The bride appeared in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle. The molded bodice was styled with a scalloped Chantilly lace Sabrina neckline embellished with iridescent sequins and pearls, and had long lace sleeves that tapered to points over the wrists. The bouffant skirt featured a cutaway lace paneled front revealing an underskirt of tulle appliqued with lace and sequins. A crown of aurora borealis held her bouffant veil of nylon illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white carnations.

Her attendants were gowned alike in street length dresses of blue brocaded taffeta made with panel fronts, sweetheart neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. They wore romance blue headpieces of crystals and tulle and carried bouquets of white and yellow pompons.

Festivities of the wedding day included a breakfast and supper served at the church hall and a reception and dance at the Trianon Ballroom.

Guests came from Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Wausau, Colby, Owen, Spencer and Marshfield.

The home of the new Mr. and Mrs. Frahm will be at Athens. Before her marriage, the bride was employed as a cheese wrapper at Marathon Cheese, Marathon. Her husband is a carpenter, employed by Frahm Builders of Marshfield.
