Drier, Rose Mary (23 NOV 1963)

Miss Rose Mary Drier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Drier of Colby and John Mathy Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mathy Sr. of Prentice were united in the holy sacrament of matrimony Saturday, Nov. 23, 1963, in a 9 a.m. services performed at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Phillips, by the Rev. Andrews.

The children's choir sang hymns during the ceremony.

The bride wore an all lace white gown with a scalloped neckline, and fine tiers of lace with sequins, falling into a cathedral train. A Cleopatra headpiece held her silk illusion bouffant veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses and carnations.

Mrs. John Tremplin, a sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Miss Joanne Mathy, a sister of the groom, was the bridesmaid. They wore identical gowns of deep blue velvet, with matching headpieces and shoes.

Carol Ann Drier, a sister of the bride, was the flower girl, and Randy De Mars, a nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

John Tremplin, Milwaukee, was the best man, and Donald Drier, a brother of the bride, was the groomsman. Ushering duties were performed by Robert Drier, a brother of the bride, and Roger De Mars.

The bride's mother chose a light brocade suit for her daughter's wedding. She carried a corsage of red roses and carnations. The groom's mother wore a green velvet dress and carried a corsage of red roses and carnations.

A wedding reception was held at St. John's Hall, Prentice, and a wedding dance was held that evening at Sokol's Hall at Phillips.

The newlyweds are living at 903 S. 13th St. , Milwaukee.
