Wankusky, Emma (17 JAN 1885 - 3 DEC 1963)
Mrs. Emma Wankusky, 78, died at Leahy Nursing Home at Abbotsford at 6 a.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1963. Mrs. Wankusky, who was a resident of the home the past 11
months, has been critically ill the past month.
The body will lie in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford, from
Thursday afternoon to Friday noon, when it will be taken to St. Paul's Lutheran
Church, Green Grove, where services will be held at 2 o'clock.
Mrs. Wankusky was a member of St. Paul's congregation. The Rev. Jerome Wohlfeil
will officiate and burial will be made at Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.).
Mrs. Wankusky was born Emma Kloehn Jan. 17, 1885. She was married to William
Wankusky April 28, 1910, at Milwaukee. They came to this area in 1917. They
lived here and at Milwaukee at various times, but came back in 1953.
Mr. Wankusky preceded his wife in death on March 28 of this year.
Their only survivors are a niece, Mrs. Ervin Odien, and nephew, Chester Bauman,
of Milwaukee.
