In a wedding ceremony at Christ Lutheran Church in Chili, Nancy Hirsch of
Marshfield became the bride of Arthur Henchen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Henchen, route 2, Loyal. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hirsch,
route 4, Mosinee. The couple were married by Rev. Lawrence E. Schreiber,
Saturday, July 29, at 2 o’clock.
A gown of white lace and net in a floor length with a Sabrina neckline having
pearl and sequin trim and a bouffant skirt which extended into a chapel train
was worn by the bride. Her fingertip veil was held by a crown of sequins and
pearls and she carried a heart shaped bouquet of red roses and white carnations.
Mrs. Floyd Wendtland, Marshfield the matron of honor and Alita Hirch, also of
Marshfield, the bridesmaid, were attired in pink and yellow satin and lace
street-length dresses, respectively. They held bouquets of white and colored
carnations to match their ensembles.
Attending the groom were Floyd Wendtland and Desmond Henchen of Loyal. Ushers
were Robert Henchen of Loyal and Henry Hirsch.
A reception and supper were held at the home of the groom’s parents and a dance
was given in their honor in the evening at Chili Corners.
The bride is a 1961 graduate of Marshfield High School & has been employed in
Marshfield. Her husband who received his education in Globe and Loyal is a
plumber and electrician. After a honeymoon they will make their home in
Greenwood.
