On Saturday morning, August 26, at 9 o’clock in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at
Neillsville, Rev. Kelly united Joseph Walter of Loyal and Athelia Schwellenbach
of Neillsville in Holy Matrimony.
The bride wore a beige dress with matching accessories while her matron of
honor, Mrs. Henry Hauser wore a mint green dress with white accessories.
Henry Hauser, Neillsville, brother of the bride, was best man.
A dinner was served at the parish hall to 80 guests. A reception and supper were
held in the American Legion Hall and was attended by 120 relatives and friends.
The couple will make their home in Loyal.
Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Krebs and their family, Mr. and
Mrs. John Walter and Christine, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Scharpf and Mark, all of
Hartford, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Berge, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lentz, Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Weczynski, all of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kessenick and Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Goetz of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Schmidt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Schmidt
and family of Janesville, and other relatives and friends from Neillsville,
Granton and Loyal areas.
