Funeral services were held Fri. at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for Joseph A. Wendel who died on Tuesday, August 15, at his home. Rev. Norbert King officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Raymond Hubing, William Beaver, Bert Brown, Benidict Braun and Paul Bauer.

Those from out-of-town attending were Mrs. Alfred Pena of Long Beach, California; Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Gravitter, Paul Gravitter, Harold Gravitter and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bartz of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. August Schultz and Mr., and Mrs. Charles Ley of Chili.
