Dobish, Katharine (24 February 1877 - 28 January 1968)

Mrs. Joseph Dobish, 90, of Greenwood, died Sunday in Neillsville. She had been a patient at Memorial Hospital for three weeks, and had resided at Memorial Home for the last month.

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday from the Hill Funeral Home at 9 a.m. and from St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. The Philip Leinfelder was to officiate. Burial was to be made in the Holy Family Cemetery at Willard.

Mrs. Dobish was born February 24, 1877, in Austria. She came to the United States in 1900 and was employed in New York for 10 years prior to moving to Chicago. She was married to Joseph Dobish in Chicago in 1910. After their marriage they lived in Chicago until 1914, when they moved onto a farm three miles north of Willard. They lived there until their retirement 20 years ago, and moved into Greenwood, where they had resided since.

Mrs. Dobish was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the St. Ann’s Society.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Horvat of Willard; a son, Frank Dobish of Chicago, Ill.; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
