Bremer, Marcus A. (19 MAR 1935 - 25 JAN 2013)
Marcus Bremer, age 77, of Granton, WI died Friday, January 25, 2013 in the
Emergency Room of the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, WI.
Marcus Anton Bremer was born on March 19, 1935 in Winona, MN the son of Anton
and Molly (Moham) Bremer. He was united in marriage to Shirley Risser, they
later divorced. Later, he married Carla York on October 23, 2000. Marcus was
very proud of the fact that he milked cows for 72 years of his life. If you ever
had a chance to visit with him you know that he had a lot of stories that he
like to tell and that farming and hunting were his passions.
He is survived by his wife, Carla, four children, LaVerne (Janet) Bremer of
Peculiar, MO, Lorraine (Jerry) Rotering of Waumandee, WI, Debbie (Archie) Wicka
of Orlando, FL and Denise (Frank) Rolbiecki of LaCresent, MN, two step-children,
Heather (Jon) Andersen of Waukesha, WI and Aimee (Scott) Iverson of Milwaukee,
WI, a brother-in-law, Rex Mang of Milwaukee, WI, nine grandchildren, four
step-grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marcus will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday,
February 2, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville. The Celebrant
will be Rev. Varkey V. Joseph. Music will be provided by Ronald Resong, organist
and St. Mary's Choir. Interment will be in the Windfall Cemetery in Granton, WI.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the Catholic Church.
Casket Bearers will be Frank Rolbiecki, Archie Wicka, Mitchell Rolbiecki,
Matthew Rolbiecki, Scott Iverson and Ervin Borntrager.
