Miss Joan Barbara Untiedt, West Allis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry G.
Untiedt, Curtiss (Clark Co., wis.), and Thomas Francis Petrykowski, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Claude Petrykowski, Hales Corners, were united in marriage at 11 a.m.
Saturday morning, Nov. 30, 1963.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father, before the altar of St.
Mary's Catholic Church at Hales Corners, as the Rev. Frank Drabinowicz
officiated at the nuptial ceremonies. Music was provided by the adult choir.
The bride was seen in a princess line peau satin gown designed with elongated
bodice and trimmed with Alencon lace. The skirt ended in a graceful cathedral
train. Her headpiece was a satin covered pillbox adorned with Alencon lace and
seed pearls which held in place her three tiered fingertip veil. She carried
flowers of stephanotis and kind orchids interlaced with ivy in a cascade
arrangement.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Clem Arend, Granville, Ohio; and the bridesmaids were
Miss Joan Pavelski, Wauwatosa; Mrs. Tom Stelter, Manitowoc; and Mrs. Peter
Torcivial, Chamblee, Georgia.
The bride's attendants wore willow green satin dresses made with bell skirts.
Their hats were open crown pillboxes in matching color and they carried pompons
with stephanotis.
Robert Stelter was the best man and the groomsmen were Clem Arend, Granville,
Ohio; Tom Stelter, Manitowoc; and Peter Torcivial of Chamblee, Georgia.
Following the church ceremony the wedding dinner and reception w re held at
Clifford's Supper Club at Hales Corners.
The bride is a 1958 graduate of Wis. State college, Stevens Point and is
employed as a teacher at Irving Elementary School, West Allis. The bridegroom
graduated in 1954 and is an application engineer for ..(a line was cut off my
copy)..
The couple will reside at 2427 South 65th St., West Allis, following a wedding
trip through the southeastern states.
