Looker, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil R. (Golden - 13 February 1968)

Residents of Clark County for nearly all their married life, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil R. Looker of Owen Tuesday observed their golden wedding anniversary. An open house was held at their home Sunday to commemorate the anniversary.

The Lookers were married February 13, 1918, in Viola and came to the Owen-Withee area about a year later. They lived for nearly 30 years about three miles north of Withee, then moved to the Town o Hoard, northeast of Owen, where they remained until moving to Owen about six months ago. They retired in 1960.

The Lookers are members of the United Church in Owen.

Their three sons were present for the anniversary event. They are: Emil Ray Looker, of Rt. 1, Withee, Thomas William of Osseo and Glenn Wallace of Wauwatosa. There are 13 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
