Oldham, Gordon Charles (31 December 1931 - 22 January 2013) With Flag

Gordon Oldham, 81, of Greenwood died Tuesday, Jan. 22, at his home. Gordon Charles Oldham was born Dec. 31, 1931, in Neillsville the son of Charles Patrick and Margaret (Dormandy) Oldham. After finishing his schooling, Gordon entered the United States Army in 1953. He was united in marriage to Shirley Minsaas June 19, 1954, in Greenwood. They lived in Kentucky while Gordon finished serving his country. In 1955, after his honorable discharge, they moved back to this area and purchased a farm in the Town of Eaton. Along with farming, Gordon also worked for many years at the Nelson Filter Company in Neillsville.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; 10 children, Bradley Oldham of Greenwood, Carrie (Thomas) Johnson of Neillsville, Keith (Patty) Oldham of Greenwood, Lori (David) Schuette of Reedsville, Coleen (Scott) Oestreich of Colby, Cheryl (Paul) Plechacek of Willard, Janene (Kurt) Hanson of New Auburn, Steve (Sandy) Oldham of Neillsville, Lance Oldham of Loyal, and Jason (Kim) Oldham of Stockton, CA; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Betty (Edgar) Ott of Ripon, Wayne “Bill” Oldham of Neillsville, June (Jack) Kluckhohn of Neillsville, Bonnie “Jean” (Bill) Mitte of Neillsville, Ronald “Dusty” (Lois) Oldham of Granton, Frank (Charlotte) Oldham of Neillsville, Kenneth Oldham of Neillsville, Donna (Jeffrey) Siltala of Marshfield and Donald “Chester” Oldham of Granton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Amanda; and three brothers, Walter “Bunny”, Marvin and Dick.

No funeral services are planned.
