Miss Anne M. Seman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Seman of the town of Sherwood,
is a freshman in the Letters and Science course at the University of Wisconsin.
She graduated from the Fond du Lac High School with the class of 1917.
Mrs. Lillis Converse left for Indianapolis, Ind. Tuesday evening to spend the
winter with her daughter, Mrs. Price Beeckler, and family. She says she left her
son Clay batching it, but that he has her permission to get married if batching
it proves took lonesome for him. Now girls, perk up.
Chester Finnigan bought the last of Levi Morris' Granton real estate Friday,
when he purchased the dwelling house and lot occupied by the E.W. Crandall
family, the old Chas. Beeckler home here on Main Street, opposite the Union
Church. Consideration - $2800.
Dan Timerson of York spent Monday night at the home of his cousin Alvin Timerson
near Spokeville watching the burning ruins of the barn which burned Sunday, that
the fire might not be communicated to the other barn nearby and on Tuesday spent
the day at the bedside of the sufferer who is a patient in the Marshfield
Hospital.
