Obituary of Clifford Eggett
Funeral services for Clifford Eggett were held Wednesday, April 23 from the
Methodist church in Spencer and the Swarthout Funeral Home. Rev. Rudolph Schulze
of Wisconsin Rapids officiated. Burial was in the West Spencer cemetery.
Mr. Eggett passed away at the house of his mother, Mrs. E. N. cox at Cheney,
Washington where he had gone for his health.
He was born in the Town of Eaton near Greenwood on May 27th, 1904, son of
William Eggett, who passed away in 1905 and Nettie Chandler Eggett Cox.
He was married to Olga Lindau on June 16, 1932. Mrs. Eggett and five children,
William, Jeanette, Barbara, Sandra and Clifford Jr., survive.
Pallbearers were: Wm. J. Metzger, Arthur Habeck, Robert Morrow, Alvin, Melvin
and Eugene Lindau, nephews of the deceased.
Neices [sic] acting as flower girls were: Mrs. Wm. Metzger, Mrs. Robert Morrow,
Ione Gosse and Lorraine Morrow.
Others surviving are his mother, Mrs. E. N. Cox, a brother Robert, of Cheney,
Wash.; another brother Paul, Medical Lake, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. M. V.
(Esther) Morrow, Spencer; and H. H. Van Aernom, Cheney, Wash.

Cheney, Wash.; Minnie and George Eggett, Mr. and Mrs. James Engelbretson, Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Engelbretson and daughter Judy, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mrs.
Minnie Cox, Mrs. Carl Stabnow, Greenwood; Mr. Frank Denny, Mrs. Buford Moore,
Owen; Mrs. Anna Lindau, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindau and sons Norman, Eugene,
Alvin and Melvin, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Habeck and sons Laverne and Arthur and
daughters Mildred and Mrs. Percy Maxam, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beisner, Henry and
Arnold Lindau, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schoreder, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Tauchen,
Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. George Lindau and son, David, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Gosse and daughter Ione, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loos, Colby; Mr. and Mrs.
