It feels at present as though winter was here to stay.
Has anyone seen our Indian Summer? It certainly must be snowbound somewhere.
There was a basket social in the town hall Saturday evening, given by the
school. The program was good and everyone reports a good time.
Arthur Spark's mother, Mrs. Thos. Sparks, died very suddenly Saturday night.
Funeral services were held in the hall Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. Wilson
Mallory officiating. She will be missed by her many friends and the sympathy of
the neighborhood goes out to her bereaved family.
Mrs. Enfield presented her husband Sunday morning with twin boys. Congratulation
brother Enfield.
