Ratsch, Martha (? - 17 March 1968)

Martha Ratsch, 62, born Martha Foemmel, died March 17, in St. Petersburg, Fla. Funeral Services are being conducted this (Thursday) morning in St. Petersburg.

Mrs. Ratsch is survived by her husband, Gustave; two daughters, Miss Betty Ratsch and Mrs. Erna Scherffius; and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-mother Mrs. Martha Foemmel of Neillsville; by four sisters, Mrs. Sally Kluchesky, Mrs. Clara Scheel and Mrs. Ella Hoffman, all of Neillsville, and Mrs. Elda Morley of Granton; and by two brothers, Gerhardt Foemmel of Madison and Edward Scharf of Westfield, N. UY. Mrs. Ratsch, daughter of the late William and Ida (Garbisch) Foemmel, was born in Granton and raised in Neillsville. She lived in Chicago, Ill., before moving to Florida in 1930.

Memorials may be sent to her church, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Dr. Lawrence Kluchesky and Mrs. Frank Hoffman of Neillsville were accompanied Monday afternoon by Gerhardt Foemmel of Madison to St. Petersburg, Fla., where they are attending funeral services today (Thursday) for Mrs. Gustave (Martha Foemmel) Ratsch. Mrs. Kluchesky and her mother, Mrs. Martha Foemmel, have been in St. Petersburg since last week helping in the Ratsch home.
