Bollom, Charles E. (11 June 1887 - 27 March 1968)

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Neillsville Methodist Church for Charles E. Bollom, 80, of Neillsville, who died here March 27. The Rev. William Dushek officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Bollom was born June 11, 1887, in Osseo. He attended schools there and lived in that area a few years following his marriage to the former Maude Delano on April 10, 1909, which took place in Neillsville. In Osseo he operated a meat market. For the past 38 years Mr. Bollom had operated a meat market and grocery store in Neillsville.

He is survived by his wife; three children: Ellsworth of Neillsville, Mrs. Ray (Naomi) Fradette of Eau Claire and Gareth of Neillsville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were: William Meier, Lewis Scholtz, Wayne Grap, Samie Ball, Eugene Christie, Pete Smith and Henry Wasserburger. Organ music was played by Mrs. Lewis Scholtz.

People from out of town here for the service were: Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fradette and family, Mrs. Oro Vold, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Vold and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Noyer, all of Eau Claire; Mrs. Carol Johnson of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Ade Washburn, Steve Washburn and Cindy of Stanley; Mrs. Barbara Erdmann, and Patricia Bollom of Milwaukee; Mrs. Lenore Walsh of East Troy; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hart of Florence; Wayne Hart of Mondovi; Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Tinstman and Florence of Holcombe.

From Osseo were: Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Curry, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Seipel, Mrs. Coya Langworthy, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Hestekind, Eldon Larson, Einer Larson and Stanley Curry. Those from Chippewa Falls included: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bollom, Mr. and Mrs. John Varga, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bollom, and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dodge.
