Greenwood Locals (11 April1968)
During the Palm Sunday worship service at the Zion United Church the Rev. David
Logue received Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cox into membership of the church. Miss
Nettie Miller sang, accompanied on the organ by
Sandra Olson.
The West Side Homemakers will meet Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Emil
Noah. Mrs. Earl Gordee will give the health lesson.
The Salem Aid will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Mrs. John Seibold.
The American Legion Auxiliary will meet Monday evening in the Legion Hall.
Hostesses will be Mrs. Fred Behrens, Mrs. Don Warner, Mrs. Burnell Yaeger, Mrs.
Arthur Bushman, Mrs. Jake Barr and Mrs. Laverne Brown.
The Willard Homemakers will meet Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Louis
Matkovich. Election of officers will be held. Mrs. Frank Koschak will give the
health talk.
Mrs. James Horswill and family of Wisconsin Rapids were guests Sunday at the
Elery Moberg home.
Guests Wednesday evening at the Arthur Hendrickson home were Mr. and Mrs. Leroy
Wadzinski and family of Robenna, Nebr.
Relatives and friends helped Mrs. John Seibold celebrate her birthday at her
home Sunday evening.
