Henry Fenner Passes Away

Henry August Fenner, 75, passed away at his home here Tuesday Morning, May 20 at 9:30 o’clock. He had been in poor health for some time.

Mr. Fenner, a retired contractor, was born July 9, 1871 at Westfield, Wisconsin, the son of August Fenner and Augusta Zin[unreadable]d Fenner. He was married in Westfield to Miss Estella Jones March 11, 1899. They have resided in Spencer for the past 26 years.

Funeral arrangements have not as yet been completed but present plans are that the funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Swarthout Funeral Home where the body will lie in state until that time. Burial will be made in the West Spencer cemetery.

Surviving besides his wife, Mrs. Estella Fenner, is one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Irene) Hoard, Rock Island, Ill., two half brothers, Bernard Arendsee, Rockford, Ill., and Otto Arendsee, Laura Mich., and one half sister, Mrs. Lydia Bennett, of Rockford, Ill.
