Amacher, Marlene (18 JAN 1964)
Miss Marlene Amacher and Daryl Fredine exchanged marriage promises Saturday,
Jan. 18, 1964, at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Colby. The double ring service
took place at one o'clock with Rev. Ambrose Blenker officiating. Sister Louise
Ann provided organ music during the ceremony.
Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Amacher of route 2, Colby,
and C.L. Fredine and Mrs. Beverly Fredine of Minneapolis.
For her wedding the bride was attired in a street length dress of white velvet
accented with a corsage of red roses. A pill box veil completed her ensemble.
Identical street length dresses of blue velvet with matching pill box veils and
corsages of white roses were worn by the bride's attendants.
Mrs. Lloyd Amacher of Marshfield served her sister-in-law as matron of honor.
Miss Gay Fredine of Minneapolis, a sister of the groom, was bridesmaid.
Lloyd Amacher was the best man and Louis Madden Jr., a friend of the groom,
completed the wedding party.
Glenn Weiler of Colby and Jerry Jacobson of Minneapolis performed the ushering
duties at the church.
Following the ceremony, a wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's
parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Fredine are now making their home at Medford.
The bride, a graduate of the Colby High School, was employed at Bezak's Shoe
Store in Abbotsford prior to her marriage.
The groom attended high school and radio school in Minneapolis. He is branch
studio manager of WIGM in Abbotsford.
