Schmidt, Arnold (29 APR 1925 - 26 JAN 1964)

Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 29 for Arnold Schmidt, 38, of Unity, who died early Sunday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, following a heart attack.

The Rev. Robert Langseth officiated at the services, which were held at Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby. Burial was made at Milan Cemetery, Milan.

Arnold Schmidt was born at Edgar, Wis., on April 29, 1925. He received his education in Edgar, and went to Milwaukee as a young man. In 1958 he married the former Georgina Gokey at Milwaukee, and they moved to Unity in July 1962.

Mr. Schmidt spent time in the military service and was a member of the Unity Commercial Club.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Larry, three daughters, Debra, Marcia and Gloria Ann, all at home; a brother, Edwin, of Belvidere, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Otis (Hildegarde) (?) of Woodstock, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
