Moldenhauer, Otto David (19 December 1903 - 1968)
Otto David Moldenhauer, 67, of Shawano, former Greenwood resident, died April
11, at the sanitarium in Kaukauna, where he had been for the past six weeks.
Mr. Moldenhauer was born December 19, 1903,* in Pella. He was married November
15, 1903, to Mabel Kern at Greenwood. They lived in Greenwood, where he was
employed by the Wuethrich Creamery Company until 22 years ago, when they went to
Chicago, where they lived until they went to Shawano a year ago.
Surviving are his wife; a son, William, of Appleton; two grandchildren; two
brothers, Alex of Detroit, Mich., and Marcus of Shawano; and four sisters, Mrs.
Helmuth (Ella) Versh of Marion, Mrs. Walter (Louise) Weix of Shawano, Mrs.
Robert (Ida) Evans of Detroit, Mich., and Hazel of Tennessee.
Funeral services were held Monday in Shawano. Burial was made in the Pella
Cemetery.
*Note: If Mr. Moldenhauer was 67, his birthdate is in error, or his age is in
error; it states he was married in 1903 also, thus that is an error; as it is
showing he was married before he was born.
